We count on Partners to join us in making a difference in the lives of men. Become a sponsor of the 2012 Men's Health Forum. Last year, over 500 men completed more than 2,300 exams that are critical to health and longevity. This could not have been accomplished without the generous support from you and the greater Tampa Bay community. Please join this year us as we continue take this important step to knock out poor health in underserved communities.
The Forum, scheduled for Saturday, March 17, 2012, is Tampa's only major health event for medically underserved men. Your support will help us provide much needed services and tests to men who do not have access to health care. The hundreds of men who attend the Forum each year receive FREE services, such as vouchers for prostate testing, skin cancer and vision exams, blood pressure checks and more - all to improve or maintain their quality of life. We have made a lot of progress, but each year, there is a growing community need for these services.

Without the Men's Health Forum, these men may not be aware of the need to take proper measures to fight disease or take action to maintain their health.

2011 Forum Statistics:
- Of 470 men examined 67% were uninsured.
- Of 307 men tested 47% had hypertension and 35% had high blood pressure.
- 231 men were educated on the importance of prostate testing and received vouchers for free prostate testing at Moffitt Cancer Center.
- Of 123 men completing their prostate exams, 9% had abnormal results.
- Of 151 men receiving skin cancer exams 18% percent had suspicious skin findings and needed further follow-up by a physician.
- Of 336 men tested, 11% were identified as at-risk for diabetes.
- Of 54 men tested, 48% were found to show signs of depression.
